Katie is a CPA with Burdick & Associates, P.C., a local CPA firm. She will be hosting a 90 minute tax information session covering the following topics:

(1) IRS Nanny Tax requirements and how to file the required forms and remit taxes yourself.

(2) The different tax aspects of having children, including: exemptions, childcare tax credits, and child tax credit.

(3) Differences between a healthcare FSA /HSA and dependent care FSA, as well as differences between FSAs and HSAs in general.

(4) How to calculate allowable childcare tax credit for nanny wages or au pair costs when using a dependent care FSA.

(5) Deductible medical expenses relating to pregnancy and breastfeeding.

(6) Other topics to be determined.

Please note that the majority of the 90 minute session will be devoted to discussion of the IRS Nanny
